Yesterday Fred, Fred's Dad, and I met Christy, Kaylee, Vanessa and Adam for lunch and a trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound. It was my family's first trip to a pumpkin patch. What a neat experience it was! We got to take a lot of pictures, took a hay ride, and did a lot of walking. Kaylee got to go in a bounce house and hunted for the PERFECT pumpkin. It was so much fun and really neat having Fred and Kaylee together; Christy and I have known each other our entire lives.
Here are some pictures from our afternoon!

Update...
Okay, so I have not been keeping up very well. I apologize to those of you (Joann and Phillip) who are far away and rely on the updates to know what's going on with Fred. I'm sorry!
Today before we went to dinner with the Hardins, I sat Fred on the bed... AND THERE HE STAYED!!!! He sat up straight and tall for about thirty seconds! It was really really neat!
Fred has been one busy boy lately. He's growing, and so much more of his surroundings. Today he spent the day with his Grandma, and he was getting her to take him around and check out all kinds of things around the house. He enjoys reaching out and holding objects, and has even figured out how to do a high five! Fred's half birthday is next week, along with his six month check-up. Fred has been eating more and more rice cereal and is getting better and better at eating from a spoon. It's amazing to me that it's been almost a half a year since he was born. My goodness, how he's changed!
Fred's dad's birthday was this past weekend, and the whole in town family was there (woah-both sides!)!
Fred helped his dad blow out the candles!
Then spent time playing with Aunt Holly
Tonight we went to dinner with The Hardins. As always, it was a complete treat!
