The Christmas holiday was kicked off by going to the Victorian Christmas service at our church, then going caroling at a nursing home in the area with our church's youth. Fred had a great time caroling and visiting with everyone! After caroling, Fred did his own show in the parking lot with his dad's top hat.
On one of the first days of the break, Fred went with his 2nd cousins, Cheyanne and Addison, to get pictures done with Santa. He was very impressed with Santa's trains while we were waiting...
especially when he realized that he could control them.
Unfortunately, one of the the kiddos was not excited to leave the trains and go talk with Santa Claus.
Fred's Christmas was a very special and busy one! He was opening presents for 3 days... only because he would open one present, want it completely out of the package, and play with it before moving on to the next one. He had a blast- but on the fourth morning he asked me, "Where the presents?" I had to giggle and explain that Santa only comes one night a year.
Fred's dad was excited to be able to sleep in this Christmas, but realized rather begrudgingly that this would be our last late start. We had Fred's Grammy, Pa, Grandma, and Aunt Carla over for breakfast and present opening. It was a very fun day!
That evening, we went to Fred's Grammy and Pa's house and had dinner with his extended family. Fred had a great time playing with everyone, especially Cheyanne and looking at Addison on her first Christmas.
Before Fred's mom and dad had to go back to work, we took a trip out to North Park Mall to look at the Trains at North Park exhibit. Fred loved it, especially Thomas, Percy, and James.
